bleeding large amounts when using bathroom.

I am a 27 year old male who Has been having this problem for the past three days. I have a lower discomfort in my abdominal area on the left side. Each time I use the restroom, there is a significant amount of blood, like the whole water bowl is red and lots of drips around in the dry portions. Several times it has felt like I needed to use the bathroom and when I go that’s all hat happens and then I feel normal again (minus the abdominal discomfort still persisting.)
I have had Hemroids Before and I had just a little bit of blood here or there, so I don’t think it’s that as I also can’t feel or see anything. I have also had a a discomfort in the rectal cavity when using the restroom as well. I’m just wondering if I should let this run it’s course, or go to the emergency room. I don’t have a primary care doctor, so that’s one problem. If it’s helps any with advice, I have been feeling a little bit weaker as well. But I’m not sure if that’s connected or not.

Hello~You need to see a doctor as soon as possible, especially because of the amount of blood and having abdominal pain along with it, is best to rule out issues such as diverticulitis and even  bowel cancer.

Oh, ya.  That's not normal hon.  You absolutely need to go the doctor as soon as you can.  Filling up the toilet with blood upon having a bowel movement is absolutely not normal.  You are sure this isn't something like your period and coming from your vagina?  Just want to check.  And this happens frequently? They do talk about bright red blood verses maroon, a bit darker red blood. The appearance helps give clues for where the bleeding is occurring.  If it is bright red, it is probably more near your rectum and could be part of your idea of hemorrhoids.  Since you are having abdominal pain as well though, you need to get seen. Diverticulitis is something that can happen that can cause bleeding also.  Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Ulcers and polyps.  All can cause bleeding besides fissures and hemorrhoids.  https://www.healthline.com/health/rectal-bleeding  Any way you can give your doctor a call?
