bloated 8 pounds in 2 weeks?

Hi,
I have been having random tight (like sqeezing/sharp) middle back pains, along with a very bloated stomach. This has just happened very quickly and I am worried that I have to get it checked out with my doc. I have gained 8 pounds in a matter of 2 weeks. I am a dance instructor and am very physically active, so 8 pounds everyone is asking me if I am pregnant.(no) The only other symptom is I get very swetty thoughout the night, I'll wake up covered in swet. I am making apt. but wondering what to think...
Thank you.

other info maybe useless idk?

well apparently they say its weight-gain from not working out as much as I was 2 months ago. (which was aprox. 26 hours of dance vs summer hours of 10 hours weekly) But that just doesn't seem right to me. How can someone still work-out 10 hours and all of a sudden have a distended looking belly...I am hoping it just goes away, I had been checked out recently at the obgyn. so i know thats normal. sigh* i started wondering if the b.c. would cause that too. If they are right, at least Ill be back on schedule soon when school starts up...but still doesnt seem fair I didnt know your body would adapt that much, I have friends that work out 2 hours a week and thats plenty for them..
ugh lol

I think you need to see your dr. asap.  It could be gastro but I also worry about ovaries.
