I was diagnosed with budd- Chiari when I was 19 years old I will be 46 in March 15 2017. But just this August I found out . I have liver cancer and that I need full or parcel transplant to survive . Have your doctor monitor your blood levels regularly . They caught my cancer very early, Hamilton ontario

I was diagnosed in Dec. the prognosis of 7-10 years is only based on the fact that the studies follow the people for 10 years. I was told that it it wont decrease my life expectency or anything. i had the TIPPS procedure done and its possible that i will need that "tweeked" but my dr in seattle has patients that have had liver transplants that are doing great!
