can't open anal muscle at all

For a couple of days I noticed that I was having trouble pooping...mostly that I'd need to go and when I was ready I could only get a tiny bit out. The need to go disappeared, but I still had the full feeling if that makes sense?

It was only a moment ago when I realised that I couldn't pass gas either that I figured this had become a problem, and after a looking in a mirror I could see that the problem was that my anus wasn't opening at all.

I'm not sure if it's related but I feel a very very very mild ache in my vagina as well...I wonder if the straining I'm doing to try has anything to do with it.

Has anyone heard of this or knows what might be the cause? This is a little weird to explain...especially to a GP.

Yes, I have been struggling with same issue for at least 16 months and I have to manually open my anus using gloves and lubrication jelly almost always there is stool at the anus that can't come out until I stretch the anus that causes pain and makes my hemorrhoid bleed, and sometimes I have to remove the stool manually from my rectum several times a day.   I have recently been diagnosed with a pelvic floor dysfunction actually more than one...and I have an appointment to see a colon rectal physician and I am terrified that I will have to have a colostomy...to be honest about this issue...I have had 3 prior surgeries to repair rectoceles and entoceles and the tests showed I currently have one of each however the biggest problem is not being able to have a normal bowel movement and I have also had a bowel obstruction in addition to the 3 surgeries and at some point the doctors can only patch you up so many times.

I have exact problem and would like to know whats wrong with me I cant have bowel movement have to resort to manual removal everytime and docs say its lifestyle problem eg not eating enough fibre or drinking enough which is absolute load of bull because my stools are very soft and I make sure I have healthy diet. docs are useless and its worrying me that this will never be diagnosed and lead to something serious

I followed your advice and got some  suppositories. I was finally able to go toilet...but I still don't seem to have any control. I'm sort of closed up by default...but I'm not sure if this is too soon to go to my GP for.

This is the first time this has happened to me, it's not usual.

The mild vaginal ache seems to have past, but I did some diagnosing on my own and it feels different somehow...more 'fleshy' I've been googling and I'm wondering if this is a prolapse somehow.

It does sound like inflammation. I suggest you try glycerin suppositories and Miralax.  aloe vera (liquid, not gel) may be helpful, but I have not tried it.  You can dilate yourself using petroleum jelly.  It's a very vexing problem.  I don't know if this means you have colitis or if you just get this when you are constipated, but I have experienced it.  Act now because it will take a while to get things moving.
