I have a cyst growing on my T5 vertabrae and near my esophogus. I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my chest between my breasts and recently have started feeling like food is stuck, and indegestion. Can the cyst cause those problems?

Have been through all of that. Cyst grew back in less than three months after it was drained. I can definately agree with you on the nerves part, didn't think of that, thanks.

I think the pain you have may be from the cyst pushing on a nerve, perhaps.  The feeling of food being stuck and indigestion seem more like a nervous problem, which your muscles may be tense from the pain.  I assume the doc who ordered the pictures of your spinal cyst has suggested a few things they might can do about the cyst, and if not, you need to speak to him.

Usually cysts like that are left alone and physical therapy can help relieve pressure on any nerves.  Sometimes they can give an anti-inflammation shot for temporary relief.  They can also needle aspirate the cyst if it's fluid-filled, altho it may return, and then also there's surgery which is last resort.

I imagine they will want to order more pictures after a certain period of time, to see if it's changed or whatever.  I don't think it's particularly dangerous, just being painful can be the main problem.  So, talk to the doc, see what he wants to do.
