large intestine removal

my mom had a surgery 3 years ago, and her large intestine hs been removed. She has diarrea all the time, and sometimes can´t get to the bethroom, is there a medicine that can help her?

thanks for your answer, i would like to know which diet she can follow and also a medicine that perhaps help her to firm up the fecal material

Geor, read some of Morecambe's posts. That individual has his colon removed and has found that a change in diet is able to help absorb much of the fluid that leaves the small intestine to firm up the fecal material. Following some of those suggestions may help your Mom.
