loss of high vocal range

I had an endoscopy to check about my acid reflux.  I was fine after the procedure but 27 days later my upper range in my singing voice is gone.  Is it possible my vocal chords were affected that far after the procedure.  It has been three weeks now.  I saw a doctor a few days ago and she didn't know what could be causing it.

I have had problems with acid reflux and did have hoarseness when I was first diagnosed, about 6 years ago.  I had to have vocal therapy for six weeks.  This seems different in that I am not hoarse when I talk or sing low notes, I just don't have a voice at a higher range and that I am straining to get anything out. It is possible though and I have not ruled out the acid reflux.   Thank you for your suggestion.

I would think it was caused by the acid reflux.  Is that under control?  Consider taking Metamucil capsules 5 of them with water at night.  The gel that forms seems to keep splashing under control for my boyfriend, plus the fiber makes everything work better.
