multiple gastric ulcers (neg for H. pylori and neg for aprin use)

endoscopy showed multiple stomach ulcers w/ intense inflammation.  This all occurred  a few months after gallbladder surgery (month prior appendectomy).  Tested neg for H. pylori and I do not use aprins.  Therapy is zantac (150 mg) twice a day along with carafate 4 times a day.
Still having pain does not appear to be getting better.  developed dizzy spells about a week ago went to the ER and nothing.  joints (esp hands) hurt and today developed a rash from the waist up, at times nauseated.  Always have had trouble with constipation but am within the last week have been having diarrhea.  My energy level is very low and I am very tired.
the GI doctor told me that this occurs in 6 out of 100 GB surgeries.  That was all of the information that I got.  I keep calling the Dr but get no where.  My follow up is March 10th.
Any information would be helpful.

i have been suffering from stomach pain at the upper abdomen over one yr now.my doc said its gastric ulcer.drugs were prescribe but to no help.lansoprazole, omeprazole, tinidazole, all types of suspension taken etc.i had to do endos test its reveals normal gastro findings, easy entrance into oesoplagus, glucosa normal.fundy ok,corpus rugge normal.Antrum gastritis.no duodenal ulcer..the pain is still there so i had to do gastritis biopsy.diagnosis was gastric adenocarcinoma.a second opinion was done it reveals gastric biopsy type of corpus type with inflammation and intestinal metaplasia.i went further with a CT scan.it reveals the stomach is well destrilised and shows no abnormality.there is no endemia of gastric carcinoma.both adrenal glands are normal.no mesenteric lymphadenopathy is detected and there is no free fluid.
i dont know what to do now.please advice me.thnx

They did test for Celiec and it was negative.  The GI doctor never told me if it was acid reflux or bile reflux.  They did take several biopsies during the endoscopy.

Because of the rash, have you ever been evaluated for celiac disease? It may not account for the stomach ulcers, but it could be the cause of some of the other symptoms.

When they did the endoscopy, did they attribute the structural changes in the stomach to bile reflux? A good pathologist should be able to tell the difference between acid reflux and bile reflux.
