pancreatic lesions

I recently went to a urologist for extreme blood (dark brown) in my urine for a week or so. He did 2 ultrasounds and the urethea scope but no bloodwork. Sent me for a Ct scan which showed lesions on both kidneys and recommended an MRI. It came back with lesions on my pancreas also and he referred me back to my family doc because it was not his field. My family doc is sending me to the surgeon (don't know his specialty off the top of me head) but he did a hernia op on me in Dec. 2011. I also had constant diarrhea for about 2 weeks before the blood in the urine started (which they said was a bladder inf) when I say diarrhea I mean about 20 times a day couldn't go anywhere etc. I take methotrexate and stopped this when the severe diarrhea started. I live with watery diarrhea because of methotrexate. I have psoriatic arthritis and take celebrex, and Humira also. Are they looking for cancer in these lesions? What is a lesion?  Thank you

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  A lesion is an abnormality of the tissue.  It could be cancerous, which is probably one of the things they are looking for, but it also could be non-cancerous.
