please help

I am wondering if basic training would exacerbate my abdominal condition gastrosgesis, malrotation, adhesions...or exacerbate my ileocecal valve and sac. Went into the navy basic training with a bowel obstruction. A nightmare of pain. Surgeon remarked my ileocecal complex looked mutilated?

Hi, basic training is unlikely affect bowel conditions. But it can affect the incision on the skin, it may cause stretching and some discomfort. It can also cause pain due to inflammation. Inflammation of the muscles, joints and surrounding soft tissues like bursa can also cause pain. Sometimes repetitive injuries or strain can also produce pain. Please discuss these issues with your surgeon, he can guide you appropriately. Regards.
