I had a seroma after surgery for a hernia in Sept of 2008.  It is now Feb of 2010 and there is still some fluid.  Dr.'s just say.  OH well gotta live with it.  Very disappointing.

i got a seroma following an incisional hernia repair - it did go eventually on its own without being drained it was quite big and a few months!! hopefully yours wont take as long - good luck with your recovery.
