upper gi pain

I have a 16 year old daughter that has had severe upper gi pain. We have taken her to drs. they have done ultra sound, xray, blood work, hida  scan they even put her on Nexium and the dr cant seem to find out what is wrong. The pain seems to get worse right after she eats. She vomits, she is in scrutiating pain which can last for hours. It doesn't matter what she eats or drinks the pain is always there. They have put her on phenegran and darvecit and the pain still is there. Could someone please give me the answers to what is wrong.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  It diffenately sounds like gastroparesis and she should have a gastric emptying scan to evaluate this.

Has she been checked for issues like celiac disease - an autoimmune response that results from the ingestion of wheat, barley and rye products? If she's vomiting up food several hours after eating (when it should have exited her stomach), has she been evaluated for gastroparesis?
