very sharp pain under my lower right side rib cage

Several days ago I was just laying in bed working on my laptop and all of a sudden I got a very sharp pain under my lower right side rib cage (not my rib cage itself but just behind the lower side of my right rib cage.) and at the same time a sharp pain in the upper backside of my right forearm (not my shoulder or anywhere near my upper arm) about 4 inches from my right wrist.

This intermittent pain has been going on for about 6 days now sometimes just behind the rib cage only, sometimes just in my upper backside of my right forearm but most of the time in both at the same time as if they were connected somehow. I have had to sleep on my right side for the last 5 nights because doing so almost makes the pain disappear.

I have been doing a ton of research online about this and so far the closest culprit seems to be a gallbladder attack or gallstones but still does not exactly match most of what I find because I don’t have almost any of the additional symptoms that others do for example:
No yellow eyes
No shoulder pain
No loss of appetite
No redness anywhere
No numbness anywhere
No chills, fever or sweating
No heart burn or digestive burnings
No diarrhea or weird gas of any sort
No bloating, nausea or vomiting at all
No lumps bumps or swelling of any sort
Nothing abnormal about my stool or urine
I am able to take deep breaths with no discomfort at all.

The pain is not associated to anything like lifting, bending, standing or sitting however the bouncing up and down while driving over a bad road full of potholes seems to trigger the pain to happen at more frequent intervals.  The intervals between these stab-like pains are from 5 seconds to several minutes and only last for a second or two at a time. Oddly enough, applying pressure as in pressing a few fingers in to the pain point under my rib cage will for the most part stop  these “stabs” or at least reduce the amount of pain and extend the intervals between the stabs.

Aside from what this actually is, my concern is having to go to several ER’s and or different specialists only to find nothing wrong like most of the similar cases that I read about online.  I’m in a self-pay situation and more than happy to pay for treatment. The problem is paying for 5 – 8 inconclusive consultations and ER visits can become extremely expensive and time consuming. I am fully aware that health has to come first but I at least would like to know that the doctor or treatment center has run into a case kind of like mine in the past. I hope that I am not asking for too much. It would be awesome to get any feedback from anyone who may have experienced (or experience with) this combination of pain or to get a recommendation to the right doctor in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.

I truly appreciate the time you spent reading this…
