waht should i do about about the redundant elongated sigmoid colon?

am a 17 year old female....have issues with a redundant sigmoid colon...was on bisacodyl occasionally, because of the on and off constipation..for about 4 years..i've been put on a dose of ispaghula husk(fybogel) after a barium enema....it doesn't seem to work......what should i do?

also...could this disorder be influenced by the nervous system to some extent....because i get to busy most of the time and keep procrastinating going to the bathroom....maybe i have adapted?.......
