Birth control

Question for everyone. My girlfriend was off the pill for three days which she has been on for years and we had unprotected sex  During that time about two weeks ago. She went back on the birth control after the third day. I did not ejaculate in her but she has had headaches for the past two days. Of course Google says this is a symptom of pregnancy. Would it be probable for her to get pregnant given the time span? How long off BC until it is ineffective?

Thanks for the help everyone

I am not a doctor but I have a story to share. My best friend was on BC for years. She was on an antibiotic and her birth control was less effective. She continued to take it anyway. She had a headache that lasted for two weeks. The doctor told her it could be the change in her hormone levels, however, two months later she found out she was 8 weeks pregnant. Not for sure if this helps.

I think you are protected for a few days after stopping birth control pills.
