fever with pain in lower back

I have had a fever for the last 2 days. I get Kidney stones from time to time and that was the case on Thursday. The pain finally passed on Friday afternoon. I have not had anything that feels like Kidney stone pain since. If you've ever had them you know what I mean. Then I was getting a fever and pain in my upper abdomen and lower back. The fever finally broke about 9:30 am this morning (Sunday) the pain in my stomach and back went away. By 2:30pm the fever was back and so is the pain in my back but not my stomach. The pain is not constant its more like a soreness. I only feel it when I'm up moving around.

Hello~You really do need to see your GP, the fact that you have a fever and still some pain, tells me there could be some infection floating around, you need to have this checked out and possibly and antibiotic.

Thank you for your advice. I think I will try to get in to see him after the labo day holiday.
