Can carbon monoxide cause an autistic person to wander at night naked?

I would like to ask your opinion on Carbon Monoxide. Years ago my Autistic son with obsessive compulsive disorder and autism spectrum disorder was wandering away from home naked at night not acting right. He was institutionalized after he was found at night naked miles away from home. A forensic psychiatrist diagnosed my son with psychosis a month later "not due to a substance or known physiological condition". Months later after my son was institutionalized, I had a chimney guy show up and found metal tin on top of a chimney covering all flues for our hose which my son also resided in prior to being taken away. That chimney guy said that carbon monoxide was coming into the home. So my son was wandering away from home naked and prior to that the walls around the fireplace were starting to break down or weaken and the ceiling was falling down. Do you think that the carbon monoxide had caused my autistic son to wander away from home naked and not talking right? After the source of carbon monoxide was removed, 4 months after that he started talking right again and his grandparents could tell he was talking better and acting better. Do you think carbon monoxide can cause such weird behavior?
