Try fiber or probiotics. I had the same problem, but am very regular now.

As you are passing a motion in the morning, I trust without any problems, then it appears that that is your body's cycle. There is nothing wrong with passing faeces only once a day.
It all depends on how much you eat and what you eat. The more fibre foods you eat with enough liquids could make you "go" more often. Same if you drank a lot of orange juice with bits in and ate more roughage foods like apples, grapes, sweet corn, prunes, cabbage, lettuce etc, could make you go more frequently.
