Fever

What is the best way to break a fever. I was diagnosed with Otis media ( fluid in the ears)
The doctor prescribed antibiotics.

Hello~Unless it is a dangerously high fever, it is always best to let it run its course as that is your body's way of fighting off the infection. Make sure you drink plenty of water, this will help as well, plus flush out all impurities from your system.

That’s what the doctor said drink lots of fluids. She prescribed antibiotics for four days.

The antibiotic should help break the fever.  Otherwise, typically, they will recommend Tylenol or equivalent, but talk to your doctor in case there’s a reason you shouldn’t use an OTC fever reducer.
