Hello~I agree with Kirstie, it does sound like an infection. I would see your doctor again and ask if another type of antibiotic would work better. I hope by now, however, that you are feeling better and that this problem has cleared up.

Hi there - "GLB" is not a common term for a test, at least here in the US.  Could you be more specific about what the problem is, and what you were tested for, and perhaps spell out what "GLB" stands for?

Sure about . The beginning of November I had a sore throat went to docs & wouldn’t give me antibiotics , went back week later took x Ray n I had a small infection in lung so he gave me antibiotic to courses later n coughing my heart up I had another x ray that showed clear .. 2 weeks after  that I continue d with a dry phlegm irretatubg cough that won’t go way n it appears the third x Ray is now the same as the first yet I have had 3 courses of Antibiotics GLB is Gloublin in the blood mine was 39 instead of 38 ??
Do you happen to have the test report, with the exact wording?  There are 4 types of globulins: https://medlineplus.gov/lab-tests/globulin-test/

A number like "39" isn't a lot of help if we don't know what that means - as in, grams/deciliter, grams/liter, etc.

It still sounds like an infection, and often when an infection is persistent or returns, the doctor will try a different antibiotic.  Not all infections respond to the same antibiotics, so if you've been on the same antibiotic for 3 courses, it may be time to try something else.
