GERD

I am suffering from GERD and i am under medication, is it advisable to have wheat bread and Lemon tea ?

decaf herbal teas ,opt out of coffee & carbanated drinks,such as energy drinks , pop ect.also ,fish , poultry , asparagus ,seafood , brown rice , bananas & oatmael  hope it helps you ..i have these things coz im on dialisys for 23 yrs , my stomach is weak & i get reflux all the time ,,i dnt eat bananas coz very high pottassium , nt good for me

I would think the acid in the lemon juice would bother you. I'd stay away from any food and or juice that contains a high level of acid as that could cause your GERD to flare up.

  Wheat bread is okay if you don't have a problem with gluten.  Lemon tea is also okay as the lemon juice will make your stomach alkaline. (good).  The tea itself might bother you depending on what kind it is and how much caffeine it contains.  Herbal teas are better.
