This is really an interesting question. I learned that there is actually a difference in tuna. Chunk light has less mercury than albacore white. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/306246#how-often-should-you-eat-canned-tuna
I do think you have to eat a lot of tuna to have it affect you.
Hello~I did a Google search, here is a link I found, it might help:
https://www.eatthis.com/best-canned-tuna/
I also searched some more and found this:
The healthiest canned tuna you can buy
Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna. ...
American Tuna. ...
Safe Catch Elite Pure Wild Tuna. ...
Ocean Naturals Skipjack Chunk Light Tuna in Water. ...
365 Everyday Value Albacore Wild Tuna In Water. ...
Tonnino Tuna Fillets in Spring Water.
I am thinking that it is probably a good idea to stop eating the brand you have and to change over, I love tuna and eat it a lot, I will have to check my labels more closely as well.
As to leading to mercury poisoning or other issues, probably not, but as I said, I would stop eating that brand and switch to a safe one, it is better to be safe than sorry.
