Broke my nose as a teen and never had surgery - should I visit a professional?

When I was 15, I broke my nose in a sports accident. The doctor said that it was going to heal by itself and that he wouldn't recommend doing surgery. It did heal rather well but not perfectly, the left side of my nose is slightly thicker now and my septum deviated.

I can still breathe well and from outside it is barely noticeable. With that being said, it is clearly visible that my septum is deviated on xrays I did recently concerning my wisdom teeth. You can find the xrays attached in the comments. Thanks a lot for your help.

Here you can find the xrays from 2013 (side) and now (front).

Hello~I agree with "specialmom" I would talk to your ENT regarding this. If you aren't having any major issues with breathing, etc, then I doubt if surgery is indicated, plus, it may be considered "cosmetic surgery" and the fee could be fairly high. Your doctor/ENT will be the best person to help you make your decision.

Well, you can always get a consultation on this.  An ENT is good to see or a plastic surgeon.  I think that if you have trouble breathing, that is a good reason to look further into it.  Otherwise, that surgery looks painful to correct and I'd have to be highly motivated to undergo it.  If you have trouble breathing, it may be covered under insurance as well but if just for the aesthetics, then it is usually out of pocket.  That's something to consider too. But I'd talk to a doctor to get input after examination.
