I had a low WBC count of 5.9.

I had a low WBC count of 5.9.  My understanding is alcohol can lower your white blood cell count.  How long after you stop drinking alcohol does your white blood cell count recover to normal range?  1 month?  6 months? etc?

Hello~I have trying to find some info on this, I can't find anything on White cells, but for red blood cells, they start repairing almost as soon as you stop drinking. I would ask your GP, hopefully, he/she will be able to shed some light on this.
