It is NOT normal to bleed for a WEEK then stop for two days and start again.  Something is DEFINITELY wrong.

Same here when I had my periods it would be a day or two of brownish looking blood until my period was completely done. But if it continues for a few more days and doesnt stop then maybe you should make an appointment and get it checked out. Was your period due when you started bleeding?  was it early or late?
small note:  STD's  always something to watch for, always have protection available.

i would like to say thats normal, sometimes my periods do that, they will tend to linger as spotting.  it being brown should be because it is at the end of your cycle

I would recommend seeking medical attention ASAP as you know this is NOT normal.  This could be a number of things, i.e. infection, pregnancy, etc.

brown blood is usually just old blood left over from your period nothing to worry about but if your not sure it was a period then take a pregnancy and if your not trying for a baby you should use a condom
