Is this implantation bleeding or a light period?

So me and my boyfriend always use a condom when we have sex. Plus I am on birth control and have never missed a pill. The latest I took a pill was two hours late. One night in the heat of the moment we had sex without a condom. It was after ovulation and everything. But then two days before my period I had brown spotting. The spotting continued and it has been red for three days. I just took my last sugar pill today and still haven't had my regular period. Could this be implantation bleeding or could my period just be light this month? I've also been stressed and sick and even blacked out earlier this month.

It is possible that you are pregnant. Have you taken a pregnancy test? It could be something else too though. Do you have an OB for paps and such? The black out concerns me. You may want to make an appointment to see your doctor just to be on the safe side.
