Antiobiotics Questions

I have had a cold for over a week now. I took one cipro 500 pill and then decided I needed to see my doctor. I took that at 5PM. My doctor prescribed prednisone and azithromycin. I have checked and seen that there are interactions in taking these drugs together. How long until the cipro 500 is out of my system so I can begin the other antibiotics and prednizone? Thank you.

I agree. You know what Prednisone is? I was in the ICU with serious lung problems and I was on Prednisone. Surely you at least have Bronchitis or Pneumonia.

He gave you prednisone for a cold? I would think that 24 hours is time to get it out of your system but it would be better to ask the Pharmacist at your drug store, and certainly enquire about the prednisone maybe the Doc thinks you have something aswell as a cold?
