Left neck pain only when look left, right and up

I am a 43 years old woman with hypertension. I am taking Ramipril 2.5mg once a day. Last month and a half ago I begin to have left neck pain only If i turn my head left, right and all the up looking at the ceiling.  When I look all the way up, if I support the back of my head there is no pain. The pain also go to my left shoulder now too but still mostly on my left neck.  Please help and let me know what I can do to get rid of this pain. I can’t really go out for treatment now since the covid 19 thing.  Ps. There is no pain if i keep my head straight.  Thank you in advance for all your help, I am greatly appreciated.

Muscular maybe.  Try sleeping on the couch a few nights with a different pillow and on a different side if u r a side sleeper.  Nerve from cervical spine runs to shoulder.  Usually will run down to a finger if you have joint stenosis or arthritis. If that occurs ask for MRI.  I am not a medical pro.

Sounds muscular to me. I would so some research on the Internet for neck exercises and stretches. If they don't help or you get worse, then see your GP.

If it is a muscle strain than you should do massage or stretching. Apply ice on the left side of the neck.
