May have ingested toxic substance, no saluva, no insurance. Help?

Ok so I admit already I am a Darwin Award winner for this and feel embarassed, ashamed, and ridiculous. Lets get that out of the way. I am an adult male with untreated diabetes and possible neuropathy. I lost my medicaid a few years ago when I got a job without insurance. This is not a troll. So, about a week ago I ordered a cheap Chinese dildo, which I regret. Stupidly when it arrived, I placed it in my mouth. When I did so I realized it was sticky and took it out. I swallowed some liquid substance like a glue. Felt weird. The next day was doing work around the house and suddenly my saliva went from normal to like 80 percent reduced and has not returned to normal levels. When I do have saliva it is frothy, salty and tastes bitter and metallic. My breathing is somewhat labored. Sleep is infrequent as my body jerks me awake as I fall asleep. I feel extremely parched like some "agent" is actively taking the moisture from my body and at times feel faint as I get up to do mundane things. My mouth feels like it has a sticky film in it. I dunno what to do. I feel like my options are limited. I have no insurance and I feel like 911 wont take me seriously.

These may also be neuropathy symptoms or covid. I know also panic is not helping. I called poison control in my area and they basicly discouraged me saying it had been a week and if I was poisoned or something what would have happened would have happened and suggested 911 wont see it as an emergency. They have seen many cases of people putting stuff in their mouths. And I imagine presenting to the ER with "cotton mouth" isnt going to motivate them to help me either.

Im just wanting some guidance as to what to do. I would accept that this is actually neuropadthy symptoms worsening or covid but there are times I can still smell the chemical plastic smell of this item in my skin or clothing material but not all the time or everywhere. Im guessing this is internal. Im beside myself and am now thinking this is a death by dildo lol. Except Im being serious and Im scared because its not getting better. Would the ER be able to tell if I was poisoned, toxic shock, neuropathy, bacterial infection or the vid? Test for those things. Thanks for any advice. I feel so incredibly stupid for doing this. Ugh. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Hello, I agree with the other answer. The ER back in America is so expensive, I would spend that money instead by going to your GP or urgent care center.  Your symptoms could be due to the uncontrolled diabetes, but to make sure, please see your doctor.  Also, what ever that substance you felt when you used the sex toy could have caused an allergic reaction as you may be allergic to whatever was on it, in any event, it is wise to have it checked and your GP is your best bet.

Yes Im thinking it was an allergic reaction like anaphylactic shock. My throat feels constricted and hoarse voice but maybe the diabetes as well. My problem is I have no GP. America is not so great with covering everyone. I am considering urgent care. Seems the least expensive option. My fear is I will be pushed aside and that terrifies me. I feel like I will not be heard. Anyway thank you both for the answers.
anaphylactic shock is a serious medical condition that is an acute emergency. I don't think you have that. Here's the Mayo Clinic's definition: Anaphylaxis causes the immune system to release a flood of chemicals that can cause you to go into shock — blood pressure drops suddenly and the airways narrow, blocking breathing. Signs and symptoms include a rapid, weak pulse; a skin rash; and nausea and vomiting. Or for others, it is the closure of their throat. So, you don't have that. You're still here. It's bee a seek, correct? An allergic reaction like a bit of throat irritation? Perhaps. But the rest of this sounds like a combo of other things going on mixed with your anxiety. Which SHOULD give you some relief but am guessing it doesn't because of your anxiety. Borrow money. You need to treat your diabetes on a regular basis and get your neuropathy checked. You have a chronic untreated health condition that can cause all kinds of problems. take care
It's somewhere in the middle, thats why I worry. I dont have a skin rash or nausea or vomiting, but I do have a constricted airway/irritation/feels swollen. My throat is not closed but feels like its closing. Heart palpitations at times, body jerking me awake and the saliva issue. And at times, feeling faint after a minute of standing but not always. Is this the blood pressure issue? Can you be in mild shock? These symptoms do feel better when anxiety is relieved or when I can achieve sleep. I appreciate how it should give me relief its that my body keeps sending signals something is wrong. Im honestly not trying to be difficult. I know diabetes is a very serious concern. I have tried my best to mitigate over the years without cover. For me, i cannot lower my sugars without eliminating all carbs entirely. If Id had cover, yes I would have doctored up immediately.

Im unfamilar with bee a seek?
It's not anaphylaxis. That is life threatening and an acute reaction. Not a slow building over the course of a week discomfort. Sincerely feel a lot of anxiety is at the heart of this or an issue with your sugar levels. Please see your doctor.

I'm going to be honest. I think it getting poisoned from a sex toy isn't going to happen. :>) Said with kindness. I don't think that has anything to do with anything. Even if you felt liquid and it was in your mouth. Those really don't sound to be any type of symptom related to poisoning any way. Don't go to the ER. Too expensive and you aren't in an emergency medical situation. Instead, go to either an urgent care or a gp. Urgent care is cheaper than an ER for sure. And more appropriate. Tell them your symptoms. You can mention the dildo but that's not gonna be the cause, I'd bet my arm on it. Do you by any chance suffer anxiety?

Yes I do. I think some of my symptoms are related to anxiety. And I suspect these could be diabetes related. Im just suspicious that these symptoms started coincidentally after contact with this item. And the lingering chemical smell is suspicious to me.
Diabetes untreated is damaging. Are you trying to manage through lifestyle? Honestly, pay out of pocket for medial care if you have to. If you live in the US, shop on the insurance exchange set up under the Affordable Care Act. I have a high deductible and pay out of pocket until I get to a three thousand dollars for our household. Some doctors work with people who don't have insurance. If you pay up front, they often will cut off the charge and make it cheaper. Ask. You need that medical care. I would say with regards to the chemical smell and dildo, it's anxiety. But your diabetes and neuropathy need to be evaluated and treated.
