Night time blindness when waking from sleeping - HELP PLEASE

I have had a headache on going for weeks now, the majority of it has settled, except for the left hand side of the brain, at the back, last night I woke up but couldnt see anything, this happened twice, what is it likely to be, no sign of stroke, and I am OK today except for the headache at the back. But What happened to me? I take ramipril for blood pressure.

Well, I'm glad it hasn't happened again. Maybe it was just a fluke. Stay well!

So, you woke up and had spots in your vision or it was completely black (unrelated to it being dark at night)? One eye or both?
