I do not know what that cream is or what it is for, however, I can tell you that the Nuva ring did not work for me.  I was using it for about 10 months and everything was fine.  Then about a day after I got married (nothing changed for me and my husband in the intimacy department) I started to notice a problem.  I had a yeast infection for three months because two doctors told me that the Nuva ring was not the problem.  Finally a third doctor told me to take it out.  No more than a week later my body was back to normal.  If you are having some kind of reaction to this cream you should either stop using the cream or take out the Nuva ring and use a different form of birth control.

If your doctor didn't tell you, you can ask the pharmacist.  I'm using it right now, but I don't need to worry about birth control.  I would suggest researching online the Candida diet and follow the phase 1 part of the diet for a minimum of a month, maybe two, then start reintroducing foods in phase 2 of the diet.  Whether it's external where the Clotrimazole (the generic) is used or vaginal, it's still yeast.  Conventional medicine doesn't recognize this, of course, since it's preventative, but I'm starting this diet myself.  I know from experience that it will cure sugar and starch cravings, even if they're bad at first.  They're bad at first because the yeast wants you to feed it.  By the way, one reason conventional doctors refuse to recognize Candida over growth for anyone who isn't so sick with it they have to be hospitalized is because everyone has some Candida.  So, it's the over growth we're talking about here.  Give it a try.  I think it's worth it.  I'm pretty sure I'll lose weight again, which would be totally worth while, because I desperately need to lose weight again myself.  I'm usually really good for quite a while after following such a strict diet and don't have the cravings at all.  Bad habits do sneak back into life again, of course.  Some people go on this diet once or twice a year just to prevent the over growth from getting this bad in the first place.  Conventional doctors will say not to, of course.  The only thing you need to ask the conventional doctors about is if you have any underlying health conditions that would prevent you from following this diet.  It's actually a very healthy diet.  It's full of green veggies and meat protein.  Some produce is out, though, because such produce is still really sweet and will feed the yeast.  So long as you have quality vitamins that don't have additives like more yeast, you can take your supplements while on a Candida diet.  But, make sure they don't have additional yeast or other additives first.

Tip:  Make your own chicken broth.  The stuff in the cans and boxes has autolyzed yeast (MSG).  So, it's bad for two reasons if you have migraines as well as Candida over growth.  When you make your own, you know what's in it. It isn't hard, so don't panic.
