Pemphigus foliaceoces and surgery

I have a wart under my foot for 2years.  I have gone for laser treatment and nitrogen freezing and it is not effective.
I suffer from pemphigus foliaceoces. My surgeon recommends surgery while my dermotologist does not recommend surgery but cannot solve my problem - I have difficulty walking.

The surgeon seems unaware of the effects of pemphigus and is confident all will be fine.  I am worried.  What advice can you give me?  Thanks

Hi.  It is my orthopedic who recommends surgery but my dermatologist is against it.  So I am still confused.  Thanks for your help

I have had two internists recommend an Orthopedic doctor that specializes in foot problems.  Have had something on both feet behind my toes.  It feels like there is a bump there when I walk - with or without shoes.

I am going to see a doctor that both Internists recommended, as soon as I recover from a spinal fusion that was done recently.

Hope this helps

Thanks Gathica for your advice.  I was thinking of getting a 3rd opinion as well. I have a podiatrist but she is unsure.

iF I WERE YOU..get a 3RD OPINION...because a surgeon and a dermatologist are not agreeing upon your health..
2 out of 3, at least will give you more confidence to get what you need to do....i would go to a FOOT SPECIALIST...so he or she can give you the proper diagnosis..THIS IS A PODIATRIST THAT YOU NEED TO GO SEE....

Hope this helps...i worked in the MEDICAL FIELD FOR 20 YRS..AND i referred patients to the right kind of DR..THAT WAS PART OF MY JOB...

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU and brings you peace of mind, in what you need to do....

take care, and hope soon you find a good DR..to make you well...

TAKE CARE
