Permanent concussion?

I got into a fight and i got 2 beer bottles whipped at my head. The beer bottles did not break. The next day i went to the hospitail they did a CT scan and they said i was fine. Would i CT scan show a crack in my skull? Would a CT scan show internal bleeding? I did the CT scan a day after the injury im worried that there was so much inflammation that they couldnt see the crack in my skull or internal bleeding? Thanks. Will my concussion be permanent?

Thanks. Should i get another CT scan of the head to be sure there isnt any internal bleeding or a crack in the skull? Or was the first CT scan accurate? Im worried that the first CT scan wasnt finding anything because the ct scan was a couple of hours after the injury and there was too much inflammation that they couldnt see internal bleeding or a crack in the skull?

I doubt if you need one, but if it gives you peace of mind, then I would certainly ask for another one.

If it is not too severe, then yes, they will. However, if they continue or get worse, then it would be a good idea to see your physician just to make sure all is OK.
Thanks maam i did get a CT Scan after the fight they said there was nothing wrong. But im still feelint very tiered i get headaches..and i cant sleep during the night i sleep during itw been 2 months since the injury.. im worried that it wont go away..
I would see a chiropractor now. Since the scans were good, you may have some pinched and/or out of aligned vertebrae in your neck area. This would certainly cause the headaches and insomnia and other pains as well. The chiropractor will take some x-rays of the area, go over them, and then discuss what he thinks will help. After a few treatments you should start to feel better.

Hello~I would not worry. CT scans can show if there is swelling or bleeding in the brain or a fracture in the skull. If you have signs of a serious injury, a CT scan is usually the best first test to diagnose it.

As to the concussion being permanent, in most cases, a single concussion should not cause permanent damage.
