Please help me understand my blood work results

29M, 167cm, 67Kg (148 lbs)

I recently got my blood work done and want to understand the report. Most things seem to be in the normal range. However, there are a few inconsistencies so it would be great if I could get an opinion from the experts.

I feel generally fine, although somewhat sleepy throughout the day. It would be great if you could give me recommendations on what to eat, lifestyle changes, any supplements to take, etc.

You can view the deviations on the following link:

If you want, you can view my full report here:

From what I see, Vitamin D deficiency seems to be of concern. Please ask if you need more details.

Hello~Wow, that is a very thorough lab report, I love how they check everything and then go into deeper detail for some of them. As to being an expert, none of us here are doctors, we are here to give suggestions but as to major things, that is up to your doctor to answer.

That being said, I didn't see anything that would raise a red flag in my opinion, your bloods are stellar. The only thing I would work on is getting your Vitamin D level up as having a low level can cause so many health issues, they are even finding out that low D levels are found in those with Covid but those with higher levels are not having as much trouble with Covid issues.

I notice the report said your CRP is high, it isn't high, it is "normal" I even noticed on the lab that high was above 3.00 and you are 2.4, so that is great. This means that you do not have much inflammation in your system which is good because it is actually the inflammation that can cause heart issues if your cholesterol, so again, in my opinion, you have nothing to worry about.

Your eosinophils are only one point higher than normal, again, at another lab, that could be considered normal. Eos are part of the white blood cell family and sometimes a hidden infection can cause an elevation, but as I said, yours is only one point, so I wouldn't be too concerned.

Liver function looks good too, again, not too much above "normal" but it wouldn't hurt to ask for your own peace of mind.

I don't think you have a thing to worry about, but, if you are concerned, then make an appointment with the prescribing GP and discuss those items. Every lab has different reference ranges, so what may to too low or too high for one, may be "normal" at another lab.

Don't worry, if I had that report, I would be so happy. Well done.

Thank you for the detailed response and for alleviating my worries!
For vitamin D, I was considering getting a supplement but read somewhere that it would be a good idea to combine it with other things (like calcium). Do you have any opinion on this?
I'm also thinking to consult a GP just to be sure.
Here is an excellent video all about it. This man is extremely knowledgeable and does lectures for medical students. I think this will really help others.

I  taking what he recommends, I was taking D3 alone, my blood work levels always came back low, so, I will now start adding K2 to the D3, I am excited to see if it helps the levels, I think it will.
Thank you for all your help :)
You are very welcome.   :-)
