My son, now 32 years old, has a long term, undiagnosed illness and, in the early stages of it, he developed an odd, yellow layer on his skin. It almost looks scaly, although it doesn't feel like it, and it comes back quite quickly after being washed off. It doesn't look as simple as mere dirt (it's very yellow as opposed to black) and covers his legs and torso, but not his arms.
I have photos but, unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to do so. However, we'd be grateful if anyone has any idea as to what it could be?
Many thanks.
