Shooting pain all over the body

Hey I'm 17 years old male.
I have been experiencing pain and aches since 7 months ago. The pain is mainly at chest area, arms and other parts of the body. I workout. I've been to the doctor many times and was checked by EKG and they said my heart is fine i just have heart murmur. Well the pain comes and goes. Also, when I'm busy or having fun i don't experience the pain.  Last week i went to the doctor again and he said i should stop the stress and stop thinking about the pain. I'm trying but i'm not convinced by what the doctor said and i keep thinking that i have some kind of diseas. I am so tired of this because i want to live normally. I don't want to go to the doctor every month for the same problem.
Please can you give me advise?

I would go back to the dr and insist on seeing a neurologist or referral to a specialist of some kind..you know your body best and doctors tend to fluff off young people . did you get blood work done? I would go to mayo clinic site and punch in your signs and symptoms and pursue it from there...don't give up!! I almost died because the dr's told me there is nothing wrong with me...

Evaluate your workouts to see if any of that is contributing to your pains.  If you have shooting pains it is likely that there is compression of nerves along the spinal column.  It will depend on which nerve is compressed to where you feel the shooting pain.

Are you doing warm ups before your workout?

I would also suggest seeing a different doctor who has the time to listen to your problem and find out what the cause is.

Best wishes.
