Should I see a specialist about my two to three second black outs?

Well recently I noticed that I have been experiencing more and more black out. Today I was washing the dishes when suddenly it seemed the lights went out. There were no lights on just the bright sun. I felt disoriented and had to remain still for a several seconds. It wasn't just my sight but my hearing as well as if I was cloaked in complete darkness with no sound. It's as if the power in my mind shut down and restarted like a brown out in a storm.  Now I experienced these throughout my life it would happen a dozen times within a year. But I am experiencing them more and more. My friends are starting to notice as well. I would often ask if the lights went out and they would say nothing happened.
