Since the medical system is unable to address my pain, where else can I go?

I have been in extreme pain for over 4 and a half years, doctors can not find the source and the meds do not touch the pain. My last ER visit made it very clear that I am not welcome.
The pain was moving down my leg, I just wanted a test. I told him no drugs Before I could explain I could tell he was very visibly upset with me. He insisted that I wanted to commit suicide and demanded that I admit it. I am not ready to die.
Later as I was answering questions for one nurse another slipped in and gave me an injection. I am in extreme pain and very easily distracted, I am completely defenseless. The shot did not feel like a painkiller, I did not feel anything from it, until 2 hours later. The stomach cramp was instant, the worst I have ever had, it lasted for two solid weeks. No sleep, no eating, a few tiny sip of water per day, and tiny little breaths. All while still trying to cope with the extreme pain in my hip.
I need pain relief, please where can I go

Hello~I am sorry you are going through all this pain and hassle from the doctors. Perhaps it would help to see a Naturopath, they are very tolerant and take lots of time with their patients, they can also recommend other types of physicians to see as well.

As to tests, the Naturopath will probably be more willing to order them for you more than other doctors. The one I had back home ordered all kinds of tests for me that other doctors had not even heard of, it sure wouldn't hurt to give one a try.

One other suggestion, I would try a chiropractor for your pain, possibly you could have some mis-placed vertebrae in the hip area that is causing a nerve to be impinged, the chiropractor will take some x-rays and in some cases, even order an MRI for that area so they know what is going on and what areas to adjust.

Hi and sorry you are in so much pain. What is wrong with your hip? Did you break it or arthritis? If you haven't been diagnosed you need to get some tests done.  What have they done so far? What are you taking for the pain? You can see a pain doctor but I think it best to find out if you have a hip fracture or arthritis etc. The pain doctors are not very helpful in my experience. Maybe see an orthopedic specialist? Do you have fever or any other symptoms?
