Spasticity and reflexes

Hi , I’ve been having a lot of issues with spasticity on the right side of my body ( but my right arm is mostly unaffected). Everything is extremely tight and I may have a contracture in my calf and hip flexor. Does spasticity  mean anything other then tight muscles ? What does it mean if it’s pretty much only on one side of my body. Also my ankle and knee reflexes are hyper on my left side and not there on the other . What could this mean?. If you have any information on any of this it would be very helpful. Thank you.

Hello, many times tight muscles can cause the spasticity you are having. Stretches would benefit you, but you would probably need either a physical therapist to show you how to do them. Also, a chiropractor would probably benefit you as well. He/she can also show you stretches and also manipulate that area and do gentle pulls, after a few treatments and doing the stretches, you should start to feel better.
