Spitting up A LOT of blood?

Every month and a half or so, I spit (not cough) a lot of pure red blood (around 12-15 tablespoons at once or more) then my spit turns clear after I've gotten the 12-15 tablespoons of blood out (usually takes place every 12 hours or so in cycles). It usually lasts for a few days and then stops, and then begins again in another month and a half. This started at the end of January this year. I have no other symptoms at all. I feel absolutely normal and well besides spitting volumes of blood in the sequences I listed above. I take no medication and have no history of any illnesses. I'm extremely worried. This started the other day again. On Thursday night a week ago there was a spec of blood in my spit, and then the following morning I was spitting a lot of blood again. I decided to go on a water fast for a few days to see if that would help, and it did. I stopped spitting blood... but then I ate my first meal again last night and then this morning I spat up some blood again (but only a small amount of blood. Not as much as usual.)

I'm 17 (almost 18), male. As said, I have no history of any illnesses and I am not on any medication and am usually fine, and have no other symptoms at all. It has been almost 3 months since this started and I am extremely worried.

I have been to the dentist and my teeth and gums are fine. I am also positive that it is not a nose bleed. I've seen two doctors, been on the phone with many different doctors as well. They all say I have very unusual symptoms and don't know what is wrong with me.

Please help!

Thanks for your reply.

I just had a blood test. I get the results in the morning. I'm also not sure if I'll be able to have an endoscopy. The doctors seem very reluctant to do anything, despite the mass amounts of blood I've been spitting up from month to month. Any ideas?

Despite having no other symptoms, I'm very worried that I may have something very seriously wrong with me, as I know spitting blood is very serious, especially since it's most likely coming from my stomach area- to the point where I've started having panic attacks.

You may need an endoscopy. Can you get a referral to gastrology for this? Very unusual. Should also have your blood counts checked to make sure you are not anemic
