Spots/"cuts" sometimes appearing on tongue for no reason? (photos inside)

I'm 28, no underlying medical conditions, the only meds I'm taking are for my pollen allergy, I also have seborrhoeic dermatitis (don't know if that matters but it's also a skin condition so I reckoned I might add this).

So from time to time, these [weird white spots](https://imgur.com/a/f1xBT0f) (photos from this morning right after waking up for example; [here](https://imgur.com/a/Hd7hE71) is an example from another day) appear on my tongue, usually along the edge of it (maybe even almost exclusively there). Sometimes they are white in the morning and then during the day as I eat and drink, they become a bit reddish like tiny burns, sometimes more along the line of little cuts (sometimes they feel like I really cut my tongue in multiple spots with something). This has been with me basically from whenever I can remember but sometimes it's irritating cause it feels like your taste is worse at those spots, they look bad and from time to time they are straight up painful when eating (as if the "cuts" were deeper). They always heal on their own, mostly one day is enough for there not to be any sign of them.

What baffles me though is that I have no idea what these are, if I can get rid of them or what triggers them. I've tried blaming everything - sugary foods, spicy foods, foods that are mechanically rough on the inside of your mouth (like pizza crust), salty foods, you name it. But whatever I blamed, later it turned out not to be a problem. Sometimes I have a day when I barely ate a sandwich for breakfast and some meat and potatoes for lunch/dinner and still I'll wake up with these the next day. What are these? Benign migratory glossitis? Can they be somehow cured or am I just destined for random outbreaks of these? :)

Hello~It looks like what I use to have, it is probably due to a vitamin "B" deficiency. I highly recommend taking some brewers yeast daily. You can sprinkle it on your food and it tastes delicious. I love it on pop corn, it taste like yummy cheese, also good on cottage cheese or any food for that matter. You can get it at any health food store, make sure it is the powder and not the flakes, the powder is easier to use on food. I think after a few weeks of use your issues should clear up.  A teaspoon on the food is usually all you need, and, as I said, do this every day for at least 3 weeks.
