Should I be exercising after receiving an intramuscular vaccine?

Two days ago, I received an intramuscular vaccine in both arms. I was warned of arm soreness for 24 hours. I played tennis a couple hours after I got the vaccine, and it made it quite sore. I took the next day off and split wood the following day, which aggravated it again. Should I be avoiding exercise?

I agree. It is beneficial to move your arm that got a vaccine. You can exercise if you feel like it. Sometimes the vaccine makes you tired because it is boosting your immune system. So if you are tired take it easy. Otherwise it doesn't really matter.

Hello~I don't think it will hurt to move your arms, but maybe not so aggressively. I would take some OTC pain relievers.

It is actually beneficial to move your arms around. Typically symptoms ease within 3 days. You can take an over the counter pain reliever as needed.
