pain and tingling are most probably due to some pressure on a nerve in the neck, arm or elbow.
if you are in a risk population for heart disease (age, smoking, diabetes) you still want to be sure and go now for ECG testing
if not, a doctor can try locate the point of nerve pressure by the geograpy of the tingling
I had the same sensation. It even got to the point that I thought it was a heart attack because the pain eventually got up to my shoulder. It was carpal tunnel. They gave me a **** up splint for my wrist and I havent had it since.
