Toothache

I had an extraction 6 weeks ago but recently have started getting extreme throbing and pain from that area.

You should go see the dentist asap, make sure you don't have dry socket or an infection. Most dental offices have after hour services.

I suggest going back to your dentist! It could anything from infection to a blood clot.
