Hi, well metronidazole can be treatment for an ulcer (it is an antibiotic they sometimes use to kill a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori). However, if they are trying to kill this organism they need triple treatment antibiotics for it and one won't do it. I don't know what Eurolux is though. I still think gallbladder and as the other post said very low fat diet might help. If I were you you might get another opinion. Try to get the scans suggested above or anything that can accurately diagnose, maybe an ultrasound? Hope you feel better soon.

It does sound like a gall bladder attack, start eating low fat foods, some foods will trigger it you can get a list online of foods to avoid, do not eat in the evening eat early and lightly no big meals avoid alcohol .If you can get to a doctor again ask for a hida scan ..Gall bladder can be horribly painful but sometime its managable instead of surgery, the Doctor will do tests to evaluate
HI,
I was at the hospital to complain to the doctor, but unfortunately the doctor did not come up with the name of what was wrong with me but he gave some drugs such as flagyl , eurolux, ibrofen.
The area you are describing could be the gallbladder. But as the other post said sometimes the appendix can cause pain the radiates to the back as well. You need to go to the ER. They will do tests to find out specifically which one it is. I think you may need to have surgery to get the appedix out or to remove the gallbladder. Drugs won't do it.
take care and keep us updated.Feel free to message me if you want after you see the doctor at the ER.

I had my appendix removed when I had severe stomach pain in my side and back...it felt like pain from gas. If it lasts longer than a day and you cannot function normally you should go to the hospital.
good morning,
the pain was from the upper right path of the stomach. please i want to know the name of the problem and the drugs to take.
thanks as i await a quick response from you thanks
Which side of the stomach? If on the right upper side it could be your gallbladder or dile duct blockage, or the liver, if on lower right , appedix, If the stomach itself perhaps an ulcer or tear in the stomach, and if on the left spleen, pancreas. It sounds like you need to go to the ER. Let me know hot it goes. Feel free to message me.
