Very high glycine and alanine

I've just had a routine test and it came out that my glycine and alanine levels are very high. I have not experienced anything unusual, i mean no symptoms, or anything.

I tried to look up some infos on the net, but i only found articles about how good is glycine for health and that high glycine can be a sign of Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia. I've checked the symptoms of that, but none of them is present. Also i am 35 years old and my last results of these amino acids were perfectly normal in 2018, so if i would have NKH, then that would already came out, would not it?

However i also found, that the body can make glycine from sugar. Recently - because of my stomach - i ate almost only rice and bread. (For a few weeks.) So, i might have been eating too much carbs. (I gained some weight, but i'm not overweighted; 190 cm and 84 kg.) Can this be the cause?

My results are here on an image; at the second rightmost column my last results from 2018 can be seen.

Can anyone advise me about this? What to test, who to seek...what can be this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello~I think if you are really concerned, you should ask the doctor that prescribed the tests. He/she will be able to give you more info than I as I am not a doctor.

Hello,
I took the test myself in a lab, there was no doctor involved.
I would make an appointment to see your GP about the results, he/she needs to know and to keep them in your records.
I will inform him of course, but i doubt he will know what can cause this...

I will say, however, that eating a lot of carbs can raise your blood sugar, so maybe cut back on them for awhile and then ask for the test again, or, better yet, ask for an A1c test; The A1C test—also known as the hemoglobin A1C or HbA1c test—is a simple blood test that measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 3 months. It's one of the commonly used tests to diagnose prediabetes and diabetes, and is also the main test to help you and your health care team manage your diabetes.

Thanks, i planned to check insulin resistance anyway. But i am more concerned by the glycine levels than blood sugar; i've checked my blood sugar at home and it was normal.
