Hello the craps you are having are most likely becoming severe enough to cause you to vomit, which is not uncommon with severe pain. I had the same problem in my younger days.  Menstrual craps can are very painful at times for most women, but for others it can be excruciating.   The trick to preventing this, is to not allow your pain to reach that level to start with.  Vomiting frequently can cause you to develop other more permanent GI problems such as ulcers, hernias, irritable bowel etc, and really needs to be stopped.

The green you are seeing is not uncommon and is exactly what you said it was, bile.  It comes from the liver, gall bladder, and pancreatic ducts in the body. Seeing the bile unless you've been vomiting for awhile that day also tell me your stomach is empty of food. Try during your period time to eat 6 smaller more bland meals like crackers, dry toast, bananas, applesauce, jello, broth, popsicles, and white stemmed rice.

Avoid letting your stomach become completely empty if possible, and this should help a lot in preventing the nausea.   Also try taking Motrin after eating a couple of crackers, but never on an empty stomach,  as soon as you feel the slightest amount of pain starting, it should help bring your pain level down enough to prevent you from vomiting.  You can also try taking an antacid like Mylanta, or Mylox when you start becoming nauseous, as well.  Never take regular aspirins, they will increase the nausea, thin your blood and cause you to bleed longer.  LOL and I know that was the last thing I wanted , and I'm sure you are the same way.

If the pain continues to get severe enough to vomit, you need to notify your doctor about the problem and they can possible give you something stronger to help eliminate the pain.  Also severely painful menstrual craps can be a sign of other problems, such as endometriosis-which is where when you bleed monthly, instead of the blood coming out, it actually regurgitates back into your abdomen.

I Hope This Helps,    Good Luck Hun!
