What could be the problem? I'm really scared.

I’m freaking out right now. I called my mom, because  I haven’t been right and since she’s across the country the only thing I could actually show her is the bruising that I have. She showed the doctor that she works for and all she said is that I either need to go the ER or get my to doctor’s as soon as possible, but she wouldn’t tell me what she thinks is wrong.

Night sweats

Headaches/dizzy

Patchy grey/discolored bruises that are caused by nothing and are starting to spread down my arms and chest

My gums bleed a lot, I have Von Willebrands disease, so bleeding is normal, but it’s a lot more than usual

Over all pain, kind of like when you have the flu

My stomach is swollen, very swollen, it hurts so bad that I can’t touch it, and it hurts to even drink water

Slightly swollen lymph nodes in my neck

Extremely tired

Not hungry.

I’m calling my doctor in the morning, but I’m dead ******* broke right now, If I get there and pay 35$ for them to tell me that my iron is low I’m going to be ******* livid, but I really don’t think that’s the problem.

I’m scared

Oh I'm so sorry you went through that. I had coughed up blood once and had so much stomach pain. My problem at the time was a tear in the stomach. I hope they find the cause soon. I'm sure you will pursue a diagnosis. Let us know how you do.

I finally went to the hospital after I started coughing up blood. They gave me a clotting agent and I have to get blood work done tomorrow. They told me to go straight to the emergency room if it get any worse.

Hi and sorry you are ill. I don't know if you have talked to your doctor yet. It could be some type of infection. Check and see if you have a fever, especially during the night sweats. I can't be more specific but the sweats, swollen lymph nodes, headaches could be a sign of infection. The pain in the abdomin perhaps you have a infection in the intestinal area like diverticulitis? I'm guessing here and trying to put your symptoms together. Let me know how it turns out.

My only advice is to try to see a your doctor like you plan.. but be firm! if he says that its just low iron tell him you are paying to see him and dont have the money to come back if it keeps on like that.. My mother and I both have low iron.. hers worse than mine and have never had symptoms like that..  I hope you the best!
