What is this vague nerve or digestive issue?

In May, I had my first vaccine. It was normal response, then a few days later, I began to experience a "pulsing" or wave sensation in my upoer abdomen or chest area. When it happens, it gives a wave of nervousness/anxiety/panic/impending doom feeling. It's about every 5-10 seconds. I did not experience this at all before. I do have generalized anxiety, but this is so far beyond what is normal for me. I now fidget all the time and it feels like I've had 50 cups of coffee and can't concentrate because I'm so wired and all my typical methods to calm me no longer work.

Yes, I reported it now that it's been 6 weeks. I also had rapid heart rate and insomnia, but those mostly resolved.

My ongoing digestive issues got worse (GERD, rapid gastric emptying, bloating) but I'm working on resolving those. I can't really digest anything anymore. I'm taking my usual enzymes, but I can barely eat due to the Nausea and loss of appetite.

I've already been to 4 doctors including GI. They want to focus on other areas, but this vague pulsating sensation and what it does to me is what dramatically affects my life. I don't know what to ask for or do. They did basic panels, CT of abdomen, chest xray, ultrasound of heart, CRP, ESR for inflammation, etc. All normal.

It feels very much like a nerve related issue, like nerves around the actual stomach. It feels to be about there. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello~I am so sorry you are having all these miserable issues. It sounds to me like major anxiety, it sure can cause the symptoms you are having. I am wondering if the vaccine could have contributed to this, I am glad you reported your symptoms.

It is good that all the doctors have not found anything serious, but also very frustrating as I know how awful these symptoms are, I have fought anxiety and many symptoms associated with ti for years.  Have you tried seeing a Naturopath, sometimes they have more ideas than conventional doctors and know of different tests as well, that was my main doctor back home in the states, I would love to find a good one over here in New Zealand.

I wish I had some recommendations for you, but it appears that you have tried lots. I hope you get better soon.
