Why can't I breathe?

I am 27 years old, male. Have had some episodes of breathing trouble for about 2 years now off and on. I would get episodes where I would get very weak and shaky feeling. Good heart echo, lung tests, and blood work. For about the last 2 weeks now it has gotten worse. It feels like there is a weight on my chest and upper stomach. No pain, just very uncomfortable and causing me trouble breathing. I have scheurmanns kyphosis, which I am supposed to be getting surgery for here in a few months. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

i suggest you to have a full body check-up again if your breathing problem is still very serious.

Hello~I am glad that all your tests came back favorably. I, too, have breathing issues at times, for me, it is anxiety and the more I think about it, the worse it gets.

I have found in some instances for me, that going to my chiropractor helps as certain vertebrae in my spine are pressing on the nerves that control the breathing, once I have a treatment, it gets better unless of course I bring it on again with anxiety and thoughts, but that has nothing to do with the spinal, they are two separate entities.
